  UPDATE 2: Key Bank took 4 months to "resolve" a problem that one of their ATMs caused. Their ATM seized my card for no reason causing me months of ongoing inconvenience. From June 2025 to October 2025 I have been on the phone with KeyBank trying to resolve this issue. I could not get a new card and was offered nothing in compensation for my months of inconvenience because of their incompetence. THEY HAVE CLOSED THIS ISSUE EVEN THOUGH I AM STILL DEALING WITH THE REPROCUSSIONS OF THEIR JUNKY ATM Avoid at all costs! UPDATE 1: Was not contacted by KeyBank for weeks after I verified my ID. I finally sent an email and a few days later I got a call from representative that said that they were going to review and call me back in 2 weeks that was a week ago still haven't heard anything but I'll give them another week to call me back. I'm sure they are stringing me along hoping I'll drop it UPDATE#2 Went to the branch office to verify my ID. Of course they had no idea what I was talking about they had no idea about an email from corporate that corporate said they would know about. However the teller and the branch manager was very nice. The branch manager called corporate to see what she could do about my situation and verified my ID. She left the detailed message now we will see how long it takes for them to call me back. Today is 7/15/25. Update #1: A rep called me. Asked me security questions, "to verify my ID". Could not verify me so now I have to go to a branch office and show my ID so they can open a ECR whatever that is. Then they will once again get in touch with me for the ATM issue. What a ginourmous pain it is to deal with Key Bank. I'd never open an account with them after this customer service debacle. Used my debit card to get cash at the Hazelwood ATM. The ATM took my card, then froze. None of the buttons worked. It didn't return my card, instead the ATM kept my card. I had to call my bank and have them issue me a new card which is causing me a huge inconvenience. Calling Key Bank was a huge pain. You cannot get to a customer service rep directly I had to hit zero about 5,000 times in order to get a customer service rep. I got a hold of a customer service rep, who was very nice, but nothing was done for my inconvenience. Now everything that was tied to that card... my mortgage my car payment all the utilities and God only knows what else is not going to be paid because my card is canceled by my bank, who is thankfully not KeyBank. I was told to link my payments to my checking account but not every place has the ability to take money out of my checking account I can't even use PayPal because not every place accepts PayPal from a phone. I can't get gas at Sam's club because all they accept is cards I can't get groceries I can't even order a pizza. A giant inconvenience due to KeyBanks janky ATM. FIND ANOTHER BANK THAT HAS DIRECT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DON'T BOTHER WITH KEYBANK AND FOR GOD'S SAKE DO NOT USE THEIR ATMs
