  SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE !!! I have been a business customer at this branch for over four years, and I’m extremely disappointed with how we were treated as a small business. Initially, we opened our business account when the bank was under a different name, and over time it was acquired multiple times until it became Provident Bank. Unfortunately, as a small business owner, I often felt unwelcome when making deposits. They (SARA ) never so much as a smile or a have a nice day , repeatedly questioned the legitimacy of our funds and even conducted a site survey of my store—after years of being a customer—which I found invasive and unprofessional. They told me they do this for every single business . Really ??!🤔 💭 When I decided to move our primary business banking to a local credit union due to these ongoing issues, it seemed like they retaliated. They allowed automatic payments to overdraft the account without any proper notification and eventually reported us to ChexSystems, which felt entirely unfair. I never received any notice until they claimed we were $537(which could have been easily satisfied ) in the negative and the account was closed. The branch manager was dismissive and rude when I politely asked for help, leaving us with no resolution. In my opinion, small business owners should be aware that this branch does not prioritize customer service or support for small local business owners that works long hours . I strongly advise other small business owners to consider a more supportive banking institution. This experience has been nothing short of disappointing.
