Left my mom hanging in Christmas Eve, giving a completely different answer than social security. So now she doesn’t get her social security until after Christmas, even though SS says Christmas Eve is a processing day for SS and the money should be there. Truist Bank refuses actually be honest about what’s going on. The staff doesn’t care. Looking at the other reviews, this place is awful and worth avoiding

3 ⭐ because the ATM 🏧 takes a very long time for it to be a 🏧 and it's not exactly in the greatest naborhood with homeless men sleeping next to the bank . That isn't very comforting

I needed to start coming to this location in July 2021, because the bank closest to my house closed. All the employees here have been friendly, professional and helpful. When I had a banking error (due to a mistake from a different bank), Pam fixed the problem and got my $72 in fees back for me. Truist is only one of a few banks that still offer free checking with no minimum balance or ridiculous requirements. As a low-income single person, I'm very grateful. If you're in the same boat and can't afford to leave hundreds or even thousands of dollars sitting in an account in order to avoid a monthly fee, and/or you're unable to have your income direct deposited into your account or meet other banking requirements, then Truist is a great choice. If you're not in the same boat, they have multiple types of accounts from which you may choose. Sidenote: When people leave a bunch of money sitting in their bank accounts, banks make money off that. If anything, they should be paying us, not the other way around. It baffles me that so many people are willing to pay banks every month. Years ago, almost all checking was free and most banks paid interest to customers (based on how much was in your account and the agreed upon interest rate). But banks wanted to make more money, of course. So they came up with the idea to offer incentives at a cost, similar to credit card companies. When they realized how much money they made doing that, they began getting rid of free checking altogether. Now millions of Americans are paying just to have an account to cash/deposit their paychecks and banks are making more money than ever. If you're currently paying for a checking account but don't make/spend enough to benefit from the "perks", please do yourself a favor and open an account at a bank with free checking/savings and no minimum daily balance requirements, like Truist. To help put it in perspective: If you're currently paying $_.__, you'll save $_.__ : • At $5.95/month, you'll save $71.40 yearly. • At $8.95/month, you'll save $107.40 yearly. • At $12.95/month, you'll save $155.40 yearly. If this amount doesn't matter to you, I'll gladly accept it as donations. I accept CashApp, PayPal, money orders, personal checks, cash or gas cards. 😆
