First I will talk about the things I love about this credit union. I love that they have locations basically everywhere. I love the interest rate on my premium savings account. I love their mobile app. What I do not like, is that they limit me on taking what is mine. My money! I called customer service today, my goal was to increase the daily limit on ATM withdrawals. I have tried multiple times to pull out $500 and get a message that it exceeds my daily limit. The very most I have been able to withdraw is $300. I went to Vegas last October, and that caused a huge issue. I like to gamble and $300 is nothing. The rep I spoke with also informed me that my daily limit on swiped debit card transactions is $1500. Excuse me.. This is MY MONEY. What gives them the right to deny me what is mine to begin with. If I wanted a higher ATM limit, I have to call DAILY if I want to withdraw more than $500. Do they even understand what things cost these days? So, what happens if I run into trouble.. Need tires.. An emergency car repair, or if I choose to spend what is mine? I would be SOL if it was a Sunday or after hours. I would be stuck. I went into the branch at Freddie's one day, I needed to withdraw $7000 to repay a loan. I had to have a GOOD EXCUSE in order to withdraw that large of a sum. Excuse me.. I do not need to give anyone an excuse as to why I want MY MONEY. Now that I think about it, the reason I had to go to the branch to withdraw that $7000 is because the check I sent out using the mobile app to pay this loan, almost 3 weeks later still had not been received. I think what is going on, they want to make it difficult for you to access what is yours to begin with.. YOUR money, so they can hold on to it longer, to make their money. I now understand their 3. 7 star rating. I will be bank shopping, because I will not be told I can't access MY MONEY.

The staff at this Onpoint location in Tigard have been always helpful and go above and beyond in the 5 years we've been going there regularly. They remember things like my name and my kids names as well, which is always nice. There's also usually not much of a wait either, which is a bonus too. Recommend 5/5! Especially a shout-out to Hyosim! :)
