When you need to get ahold of him you got to go through a call center and then they say somebody's on the phone and then you get hung up on and then you can't get anyone back on the phone. No customer service

Everything about their online process it’s ridiculous and a waste of time. nothing about it is easy or straightforward and then it will fail you for the security questions It makes up that have nothing to do with you and are basically just random trivia questions.
After failing the ridiculous Online portion for this bank, after putting all my personal information in, it told me to call the bank, I called them and they told me I needed to come in to do the “online portion” maybe I don’t know anything but online sounds like you can do it from home on the computer, going into the bank in person sounds like IRL. I feel like there is a difference.
When I called in, I asked very specifically if I needed to bring anything other than my ID. I was told I did not. As soon as I get there, they tell me I need a voided check, luckily, I keep one in my wallet, just for situations like this! They told me because the edges are bent on it they wouldn’t be able to use it so just run back home and get them a new one…. I run back home and get them a new one. Now they won’t take my debit card without running it as “cash advance” seems ridiculous that they won’t run it as debit, but whatever I go to the bank in St Helens and they have no problem running it and handing me the cash that I go back to Onpoint and hand them which they are willing to take…. -_-
I feel like the employees here are being intentionally obtuse maybe just for their own entertainment. I’m glad I set aside the entire day to deal with this bank. Because even though I called ahead and asked if I needed to bring anything specific and if they had told me at that point what I needed to bring in this would’ve taken less than 10 minutes, because I don’t know why, this ended up taking around four hours of my day.
Avoid this institution and the people that work there entirely if possible

Since the recent update to OnPoint's mortgage interface, transactions now take 2-4 business days to appear in the transaction ledger, previously, they were immediate. This lack of real-time visibility is unacceptable in 2025.
Additionally, the new third-party mortgage platform is clunky and cluttered with redundancy and appears focused more on upselling mortgage services than providing usable data or a functional user experience.
As a 30+ year OnPoint customer, I find these changes deeply frustrating and am seriously considering transferring my mortgage elsewhere if they are not addressed.

Always helpful and pleasant when I come in! If I have to bring in my children they always converse with them too and they love it. Always a pleasant experience!
