    Had a great experience at the South Salem branch. Hunter helped us open up a new checking account and clearly outlined the different account offerings so that we could choose the one that worked best for us. The process was pretty quick and Hunter made it pretty painless. He followed up a few days later to confirm that we received our new cards and that everything he helped us out with is continuing to work out well. Great experience overall. Thanks Hunter!!

    When I walked into the branch and asked for assistance for a wire transfer, I was told that the way that they could help me with it is to do it through the app and that they weren’t sure if a banker would be available to assist me. The person I spoke with seemed to not want to bother the bankers who were not doing much more than chatting amongst themselves and it felt that the wire transfer was something they didn’t want to do, almost with an it’s not my job attitude. I let them know that I was having trouble using the app and that’s why I came in and that I didn’t feel comfortable doing the wire transfer by myself. They let me know that they could check with a banker and if they did have availability that they could try to assist me with it. I then waited for quite some time. A banker finally asked me if I still needed help when I went over to get help with the wire transfer again, I was told that the self service would be the option. I also let them know. I wasn’t comfortable doing it myself, but since that seemed to be the only option for me, I pulled up my phone so that I could go ahead and get the wire transfer started. When I came in I planned to provide the information that I had saved in my phone so I didn’t have it written down, so I let them know that and they gave me a sticky note so I could write the information down since I was transferring the information back-and-forth as I was doing this the app timed out when I let him know. I could try to pull it back up again and put the information in again quickly. He was very dismissive and let me know that I could go sit down in the lobby and wait and see if they would have time to assist me again but that he had an appointment so he wouldn’t be able to assist me. He seemed the entire time as if it was an inconvenience and that I should be doing it on the app I didn’t feel comfortable when I did get up to leave. I let them know. I could try to figure it out myself. I was given no more assistance. I then went to another Wells Fargo branch and at that branch, I went in and asked the exact same question if I could get help with a wire transfer at that branch they let me know that they would check to see if they had a banker available, but if they didn’t, they would get their manager and they could assist with a wire transfer. I then sat for just a couple moments. I was pulled back by a banker. They helped me with a wire transfer. There was never a discussion of having me do it on my own or having me just do it through the app, they did complete the wire transfer for me. They were very professional, unlike this location, very helpful and I felt like walking into that bank was a completely different experience than in the first one. Someone should really have a chat with this location about not being rude to their customers, they literally work in customer service the other locations worker literally shook my hand and said that they’re there to help. For context I didn’t even mention my other experience the people were just nicer.
