This is the worst bank ever.. this is the 2nd time it got restricted due to transaction that were made by me! Not anyone but me and yet I was being told to sign & fill out an affidavit and wait 10 days for fraud department to process it, and another up to 30days for FDR to review my case ,. Like I’m going thru so much work for them to unlocked my account for transactions that were made by me ,. So stupid , how they even questioning me for transactions I specifically made,. It would be understandable if they question me about disputes, but the fact that there not disputes but transaction made by me and yet account restricted is stupid

I’ve been a KeyBank customer since 2009. I made an appointment with Ryan Swenson on October 30th to accept a car refinance offer that was emailed to me. I went in, signed papers and we started the process. On November 13th I met with Ryan Swenson again to sign one last document. He let me know that everything should be finalized by the 16th or 17th. I emailed Ryan on the 18th at 10 am to get an update. I received a call back on the 19th at 9 am. Ryan stated that there were notes from his finance team and he seemed to be reading them for the first time with me on the phone. He stated something along the lines of ‘tried to call OCCU but the hold time was too long, requesting customer call to get the payoff amount’. Ryan stated that normally isn’t their policy. I asked Ryan to give me the number of the finance team, so I could call them to let them know I wasn’t going to do their job. Ryan said he had time that morning and would take care of it for me. I got an updated email from Ryan at 10:28 saying he was able to reach OCCU and was successful. Completed in 1.5 hours! I went back in to the bank to sign final documents November 23rd. I met with Ryan Mosgrove, the Assistant Vice President Branch Manager. I was looking forward to speaking to him about my experience. When I got there the loan documents weren’t correct. The loan amount was more than I requested. I asked him to correct it and he stated that would delay things even more, he wanted to submit the incorrect loan amount and said they would just deposit the extra money into my account. He wasn’t concerned about the extra interest I would have to pay, along with a higher payment due to this mistake. I declined and said I want it corrected. I then made another trip back to the bank, once the documents were corrected. I tried to have a discussion with Ryan Mosgrove about how frustrating this situation has been and he looked at me with a blank stare... At no point did I feel like Ryan heard me or was listening, I felt completely disrespected! After banking here for so long, I will be closing my accounts with KeyBank. I don’t trust them, and don’t appreciate being treated like garbage!
