You need to be able to feel comfortable with the person with whom you trust your investments. This will help you not overreact to market changes and allow yourself to accept valuable advice. You'll sleep better at night. Chip takes the time to educate his clients and serves his customers well. I'm sure there are many such advisors out there that do the same. However, when I interviewed him I discovered that I felt very good about his personality. He doesn't show the artifice of a salesman; his intelligence is never overweening or condescending. I simply liked him. I don't necessarily expect you will feel the same, but you might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.
