Every time I visit this Wells Fargo, it has consistently been a great experience. The staff are very welcoming, especially Robert Sabido Jr. who has helped me twice now. Mr. Sabido gave great advice on how to use my bank accounts better, and helped upgrade my accounts. When I needed help to correct my personal information, and fix the language settings on my Wells Fargo app, he was also quick to help. Made my experience with the visits really easy, very much appreciate it! Shoutout also to the doorman who is very friendly.

I always get superb service no matter how trivial the transaction. The staff and manager are very professional, approachable, informed, and personable. I deal with the people there all the time in lieu of using an ATM because the experience is so pleasant.

Slowest bank, least hours, all understaffed. I would never bank with them. My landlord does so I unfortunately have to wait in line to deposit a rent check. Lame.

Long review short: The staff here is amazing, Wells Fargo is a classic big bank and has all the good/bad that comes along with that. **I only gave this 5 stars for the workers here** Had an amazing experience both times going here. The front desk person (didn't get a name) Patrick and Ryan were all friendly and seemed like they genuinely wanted to help! Had amazing attitudes and were very pleasant to work with. However, Wells Fargo sucks compared to the local options or smaller banks. The (amazing) staff here is held back by the ridiculous policies at WF. I walk in to get a simple replacement credit card. Instead of just work with the friendly bank tellers... the bank tellers are forced to call the regular 1-800 wells fargo number and then have me confirm all my personal information (again) for 30 minutes to someone who struggles to understand me. Really? The process was a waste of everyone's time and money when the bank teller could have just confirmed and ordered everything???? They even had to confirm all my info before calling the 1-800 number... they could have done this in 5-10 minutes but instead everyone's time was wasted... give the bank tellers more power! Not to mention this is my FOURTH TIME ORDERING THIS CARD to multiple addresses! Use a smaller bank if you can. If you have to use Wells Fargo, I'm glad this is my closest

I cannot warn you enough to be VERY, VERY careful doing business with Wells Fargo and, even more specifically, this branch. Before talking to them, Google "Wells Fargo Opened An Account Without My Permission." You will find they are being sued in Los Angeles (by the City of LA) and have other class action suits against them. It happened to my wife at this very location. She applied for a credit line, was told they were only requesting to see how much they could give and that she would be able to say "yes" or "no" before they would proceed. The bank responded with an amount less than she was looking for and my wife politely said, "no." A few weeks later, they call her, telling her they just needed to ask a few questions about the line, in which case, she said there has been some confusion, she had said no before and does not want it. She then called her local banker (at the NW 19th Branch) and repeated that she just got a weird call and she does not want the line. They opened it anyway! This would not be so bad, but then Wells Fargo refused to shut it down and take it off her credit causing her to be unable to open another account at a reputable bank until it was taken care of. This whole process took months and it wasn't until we found out about them being sued for this very behavior, and brought it to their attention, that they were willing to do anything. The people at the bank have exhibited some of the worst customer service I have ever seen and the bank's San Francisco Lawyers are now telling us that they have permission to open accounts for people when they simply "inquire" about a line, even though the bankers say otherwise (the lawyers say they are just "poorly trained" and it's hard to train so many employees). The city of Portland needs to stand up to Wells Fargo and stop consumers from being taken advantage of.
