I’ve been with OnPoint for years and normally don’t write reviews, but what I experienced at the OnPoint Fremont was unacceptable. Two members simply trying to cash or deposit checks were treated like criminals. The OnPoint staff gave them the runaround, made disrespectful comments while they were there, and even worse remarks when they left. As a white American, I once believed racism was a thing of the past. Watching what happened at OnPoint proved otherwise. Bias and discrimination were on full display. No member deserves that treatment, yet at OnPoint it seemed normalized. If OnPoint values its promise of fairness and inclusion, it has a lot to learn about customer service. Right now, OnPoint feels more biased than balanced, more unfair than supportive. Unless leadership addresses this culture, I’ll be moving my accounts elsewhere. #OnPoint #OnPointBias #OnPointUnfair #OnPointDiscrimination #CustomerRights #DoBetter

I just went in with an Oregon State Identification, a check drawn off their bank, just to be turned away and told “I’m sorry, we can’t help you.” How is this Credit Union supposed to be better than any bank if they won’t give me my money? It can’t be racism right, we’re supposedly past that. Is it how I’m dressed? Am I too old? I realize times are tough, hence I need my money, but I expected this Credit Union to be reliable. Even though I am calm I feel so angry, there’s better service at Walmart.

I went in with a specific card issue and the lady was super rude. Seemed like she had no interest in helping me and just brushed me aside and gave me a phone number for automated card help (which I had already tried before). I explained that I'd already tried it and that I needed a different solution but she told me that there was nothing else she could do to help. Later I talked to a representative on the phone and they told me she had cancelled my card without telling me after instructing me to call to active it and refusing to issue me a new one as I'd asked while I was there. Very annoying, as I rarely have time to go into an OnPoint location and when I finally did they were unfriendly and unhelpful. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the lady on the phone was super nice.
