    I used to bank with a different CU, but when I moved to this neighborhood, I switched to On Point. (walking distance is a selling point for me) They have been stellar, including free unbiased advice about navigating retirement and Social Security, and going above and beyond helping me lock down multiple accounts and get reimbursed after I got mugged last year. They actually make it a pleasure to do my banking, I trust them with my money, and they have a branch 5 min walk away. That's win/win/win! (however, this branch tends to be crunched first hour, last hour, and lunch hour...plan accordingly)
