- SJSaddiqa JenkinsDec 21, 20251.0AVOID OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH KEYBANK!! It’s now been THREE DAYS since I should’ve received MY MONEY from my employer and still nothing! They needed to verify my address which is fine, but it’s INSANE to me that they were going to notify me via a physical letter. Who waits around for snail mail when their money’s missing???? Why not send an email immediately!!!!! Instead, I had to call them to ask why my money wasn’t in the account. Have spoken to three people who have all told me different things. This is so wild to me, I have a mortgage and we’re approaching the holidays… shame on you, KeyBank!!!!

Banker Nith Vinavong took down all my information including name, social, license number, etc and said she’d handle the issue with my account. I tried to follow up a few times and left a voicemail just asking for some kind of acknowledgement my issue was being looked into as I was locked out for a couple days. She did not return any calls, and there was absolutely no follow up on her end which was the most frustrating part. I hope my sensitive information was not as disregarded as I was as a customer. I was able to go in and get helped by Brian, who was amazing. He was able to resolve my issue within 30 minutes compared to Nith, who did not and has not responded all week. Very disappointing first impression, but Brian was able to resolve all issues quickly. Thanks Brian!
