- CBCarol BalesJul 14, 20251.0While waiting in line today, there was a lady who was easily in her late 80's. She was trying to make a withdrawal of $5000. They asked her what she was using it for. The another lady comes up and ask her a number of questions: is someone pressuring you? Is someone threatening you? etc etc. All of which she stated No. Then another associate come up and tells her "you have worked too hard for your money, your whole life and you made a large withdrawal last week. We cannot give you any of your money"! The customers in front and in back of me were just as stunned as I was. Personally I would have closed my bank account right then! Unbelievable. Like the lady said, it is her money and she should be able to spend it how she sees fit. I will be looking for a new bank to take both my personal and business banking. I find it hard to believe that they can get away with this legally. What sad customer service.

The lady banker just wanted to push me off so she could go to lunch and wait for appointment that wasn't even there. She spent all the time she could have helped me telling me she had an appointment coming in. Just so everyone knows I have been a loyal customer since 1970! Time to change banks.
