- ZBZach BlenkinsoppNov 17, 20251.0I have my truck, wife’s vehicle, and side by side all financed at Rogue Credit Union. I walked in to open at checking account for my Sky King Ranch Stewardship LLC. It’s a $2.5M property and am starting a for profit branch of the ranch. I was told I could wait 5 hours or find another branch. I’m not expecting special treatment however, as a bank, this is not how to attract business customers.
- LLLGJul 30, 20251.0I walked-in at the wrong time to open a new account. The young gals said the person had just left to eat lunch, to go back in an hour and a half. I went back in the afternoon guessing the employee was back from lunch and all his coffee breaks. He saw my driver's license with home address in Grants Pass, OR and asked why did I want to open an account in that branch? I said because I do all my shopping in Medford, like Costco, etc. He said they would do a background check and my credit report record to open an account at RCC. I said my credit report has a freeze that would take a few hours or a day. He kept looking at my driver's license and he didn't give me any paperwork to open an account. I said thank you and left. The employee didn't have great customer service, the young girls were all giggling and weren't busy with work. I didn't want to transfer my direct deposit and all the banking I've been doing for decades at another bank. I guess it was around Christmas and the employee didn't feel like having more customers to bother with.
