Today I was denied access to my bank account because I couldn't remember one of the security questions which was "what month and year did you open the account". I knew what year it was but couldn't remember the month so while I was waiting to speak to a manager, I found out when I opened the account and provided it to the manager when she answered but was told since I wasn't able to immediately answer the question to the associate I was originally speaking to on the same call that I would have to go in to a branch or register for online banking. I tried registering for online banking and it said "unauthorized to access this resource". A bank in this country CANNOT deny an owner of a bank account access but illegally did so today to me.
