- IKIsaac KelseyFeb 12, 20221.0I nearly lost a house at closing today due to a wire transfer that mysteriously went missing for 5 hours. All the transfer information was verified and correct. I also received several promises from the banker of a very quick wire given the sending and receiving accounts were both with Wells Fargo. So please explain how a wire initiated 25 minutes after the branch opens hasn’t shown up 5 hours later. There’s literally nobody else to blame when it’s between WF accounts! They kept insisting I should just complete the wire using their online banking services. I think it’s so they can blame problems like this on the customer instead of accepting responsibility. I’ll be closing my accounts with Wells Fargo now.
