- MKMary Kettleband6 days ago1.0I’ve had no complaints for 24 years until I tried to close an account after my husband passed. They said my name is wrong on the account and I had to go to court to change it. I had an account prior to marrying. When I got married, they kept my last name and used it for my middle name on the new account. I did not request that, they just put it on. Now they say I can not close the account and if I do take the money out, they will ding my credit every month for insufficient funds, endlessly. So they made the mistake that they are telling me they can’t fix w/o a court order. My husband was an 80 year old disabled vet. This sounds like elderly abuse to me. They don’t hold themselves accountable for the mistake they made. They expect me to fix it.

Whoever did it this morning with a white car was driving aggressively into traffic. Stop doing that. Someone is going to get into a wreck because they are in a hurry. Edit: I contacted Wells Fargo "Social Care" and they did nothing. They said the Executive Office would contact me and nothing yet. Bunch of liars and putting people at risk for injury if not more
