Stupid I would not recommend

On 3/9 the representative did a reasonably good job in providing assistance but pointed me in what turned out to be an entirely wrong direction. On 3/10, I spoke with a different representative: John, an experienced CPA. He reviewed with me the first representative's direction and we agreed that it didn't make common sense -- and appropriate tax reporting. John worked through step-by-step how the matter should be addressed, tested it with me on my return, and addressed all my questions and concerns. Stellar work, John!
