    I was a customer, and at some point they closed my account. Totally fine, I’m sure I missed the email. HOWEVER, I went in to deposit several checks, and they did not verify my account before stamping every single check with their stamp. After they stamped all six checks, THEN the teller looked up my account, informed me my account had been closed, and it would take another 30 minutes to reopen. I’m extremely disappointed that this happened, and I can only hope that it’s not the usual policy to put stamps on personal property before verifying the account is active. Really disappointed. I can either get these deposited in person at another bank and have them held for 10 business days, get them reissued, or pay $10/each to get them turned into cashiers checks from the issuing bank. What a hassle.

    Deliberately tried to keep me from my dead father’s account even though I’m executor. I had a death certificate and letters of administration along with all identification. Then proceeded to make rude comments about my attorney. Absolutely unprofessional.

    Since Umpqua Bank took over Columbia Bank, it's been nothing but a hassle. Deposited my pay check twice in the wrong account. The tellers are lazy and unwelcoming. They will charge you to cash a check even if it's from them if you don't have an account. I will be switching to a credit union ASAP.
