- CBChad BelknapOct 15, 20251.0I’ve banked with OnPoint for many years without any issues — until recently. My business account was hacked, and just a week later, it was hacked again. When I discovered the second breach, I called right away. They told me they would shut down the account and that I could come in to reopen a new one. But when I got there, I found out they never actually closed the account — and the fraudulent charge had already gone through. Now I have to wait up to 45 days for their dispute process before I can even close the account. I’m not sure what’s more frustrating: waiting 45 days to get my money back, or knowing that some criminal is enjoying a vacation I unknowingly paid for — while OnPoint does nothing to stop it. Instead of taking real action, like actually shutting down my account as promised, all I’ve gotten are apologies. Unfortunately, apologies don’t equal cash.
