  Terrible credit union. Impossible to work with. Impossible to get in communication with. Seek other credit unions like OCCU. EDIT: They did not right any wrong after this review. They just posted to make people think they tried to. Still should seek better credit unions.

  DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT UNION. We were told with the first merger nothing else would change. I had a fraudulent transaction happen. Clearly it’s a problem with the Tariffs. First tried dealing with seller then I had added PayPal as an extra layer of protection. I did all I could only to receive the “we’ll send the box back to Japan and see how much it costs you and many offers for a lower amount back” when I finally talked to the credit union I was assured although time had passed with all my documentation with both seller and PayPal this was fraud it even showed other customers experiencing the same thing. Did the credit union insure me? Did they even look at all the day? Nope about the time this unknown peak came into picture I get a letter basically saying eat it. It’s too late and again I was assured they understood why it was late had the documentation should be an easy thing. I ate every ounce of the empty box. Anyone want a nice necklace box for over 500$??? I can say this every time my daughter and I have dealt with The credit union we were assured that it would stay in Northwest community credit union and nothing else would change. Obviously nothing’s true.

  I’ve had this bank for over four years, they recently merged with TwinStar and they are no longer worth banking with. I have been more than happy with them, no issues, for four years. Ever since the merger, so many things are going wrong. My account balances are never correct, it takes almost 2 days for transactions to show posted to my account. One day last week I woke up with $3,000 extra in my bank account with no explanation or deposits - so the balance was obviously incorrect - but for the entire day their online banking system would not reflect my actual balance. I was already thinking about switching, because there are no NWCU locations in Portland, but the cherry on top was when I drove to this Cedar Hills location to withdraw some cash out of my account, and they informed me they are a ‘cashless’ bank and I they do not carry ANY cash at that location, so I could not withdraw money. I was told I would have to drive 35+ minutes away to the other branch near Gresham if I wanted to get cash out of my OWN bank account. What kind of BANK doesn’t carry CASH???? Especially a bank that only has TWO locations in the entire Portland metro area? It doesn’t make sense at all, incredibly inconvenient for their customers, so I will be moving over to Onpoint CU. It was fun while it lasted!

  Matt wasn't the best at resolving my issues. He's attitude wasn't the best. He could not care less about helping out customers. Wouldn't recommend getting help from Matt
