- IOIoana OlaruJan 2, 20261.0I have been banking with Columbia bank for 20+ years; started banking with them before they were Columbia bank. Stayed with them as umpqua bank. Ever since Umpqua became Columbia bank again the quality of service keeps going down, constantly. The tellers are new, not knowledgeable and some of them borderline rude. It feels like Rosie has to keep them around because of the amount of turnover she had in the past 2-3 months. The other day, the teller was too new to be able to open me a new account and Davion just turned the back to me and the junior seller and faked not hearing a thing. It happens more and more to where untrained or insufficiently trained new tellers are left to their own devices unable to perform basic counter tasks correctly or confidently. Rosie used to have a handle on her branch , but is not the case anymore. It's a pain to go into that branch on Main st. anymore.
- JCJulia CenskySep 26, 20251.0I wanted to transfer money from this bank to my brokerage firm account. I was told I had no other way but to spend $30 for a wire, or $10 for a cashiers check. I ended up spending $10 for the check, and immediately took it to a different Columbia branch to cash the same check. Turns out I could connect the 2 accounts freely by doing so online. The representatives made no attempt to tell me that I could do so freely. Thankfully it only cost me $10 to learn that lesson. Shortly I will be closing my account. Thanks Columbia.

We were impressed with her positive attitude and willingness to get the check ready the same day. She is one of the best bank officers we have ever dealt with. I highly recommend Umpqua Bank in Beaverton Oregon. The entire staff is upbeat, cheerful, and helpful.

For over 18 years, this bank changed its names three times. Rosie the manager is great, her assistant manager is bad news. Aug 9th, 2023.
