- CBChris BaysJul 19, 20251.0I have an account with umpqua bank and i have overdraft in case of an emergency and i had money in my account that showed it came off my account for 4 bills so when i overdrafted my account i should of only been charged 2 overdraft fees, and i was charged 6 overdraft fees as the bills i paid were taken off my app on my phone the day before I made two overdraft withdrawals and they took out the overdraft withdrawal before the bills and charged me 6 overdraft withdrawals the day after my account on my app said my bill money was taken out, when i called customer service they reversed two of the four overdraft fees that shouldn’t have been overdrafted, i DO NOT recommend umpqua bank as they ripped me off, i will definitely be switching banks and will never bank with them in my life again, or will i ever recommend anyone to bank with them, they sure know how to rip you off. If i could put zero stars on their rating i would. 1000/10 do not recommend banking with them

- BCblaine clemensMar 25, 20195.0Today we needed to start a new account due to moving to Baker. My husband and I had walked into another downtown bank and were completely ignored. We waited with no eye contact from anyone at the Old West Credit Union. When we walked into Umpqua Bank, we were greeted warmly with coffee or tea and told that someone would be with us shortly. Chastity Anderson helped us for over 2 hours deal with some difficult SS issues concerning changing from an old bank . As recently retired seniors we felt welcomed to Baker and supported in our new banking venture. Thank you Chastity!!! Most would have given up and told us to come back after we figured out the problem. We appreciate customer service like this and will do our future banking with Umpqua!
