Since 1890, Banner Bank remains committed to being the best provider of financial services in the West. Throughout our history, we’ve focused on delivering competitive financial services to the clients we serve. Our motto, ‘Do the right thing,’ is much more than a slogan at Banner Bank. It’s truly what we expect of our employees and one another as colleagues.
Banner Bank is heaquartered in Walla Walla, Washington, with locations throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California.
Once upon a perfectly ordinary Tuesday, in a town filled with traffic lights, coffee shops, and a whole lot of “meh,” I walked into Banner Bank, and everything changed. Not because I suddenly became a millionaire (working on that still!), though that would be nice, but because I found something rare these days—real people who actually care.
From the second I stepped inside, I wasn’t just another customer. I was seen. I was welcomed. I was treated like I mattered. Not with a forced grin or a tired script, but with genuine warmth. It felt less like a bank and more like a place where good humans happen to handle money.
And let me tell you about Megan. She is the heart of the place. If they gave medals for kindness, problem-solving, and having a calming presence during financial chaos, she’d be a gold medalist. She is sharp, compassionate, and makes you feel at ease no matter what you're there for. She remembers names. She listens. She gets it done with a smile that actually reaches her eyes.
The rest of the team? Just as amazing. Every teller, every advisor, every person behind the counter brings something real to the experience. You can feel it. This branch runs on more than numbers. It runs on community, trust, and the kind of service that used to be common and now feels like a miracle.
Whether you're opening a new account, solving a problem, or just asking a few questions that you could have Googled but didn't want to, this team makes you feel welcome. They make you feel safe. And they make you want to come back.
Banner Bank is more than a bank. It's a bright spot. A rare place where service is still personal, smiles are still sincere, and people like Megan remind you what it feels like to be treated with dignity and care even when the bank account runs empty.
Five stars. All day. Every time.

I recently started banking here and I love the services they provide. I wish I'd started with Banner decades ago. Megan is awesome and cheerfully guided me through everything on opening my account and answered all of my questions. It was a very positive experience and I feel like Banner really looks after their customers. 👍

I opened a checking account a week ago and have never been able to access online banking either with the app or website. Technical support did not solve the problem. It's a deal breaker.
