Can not be trusted with business transactions. Absolutely egregious handling of a wire transfer, which should be one of the most basic and straightforward services offered by a bank. First, I called ahead to the main number to confirm they offer international wire transfer. I was told yes and all I needed to provide was the wire information. I said "anything else?" And they said no. When I arrived at the bank, I was directed to an inexperienced teller who had clearly never done any kind of wire before. Even though it was slow and there were managers standing around doing nothing, the teller did not refer me to someone capable or ask someone to stand by and walk him through it. I was there for 50 minutes waiting for him to complete the wire forms. I also learned quickly that they did in fact need additional documentation of the nature of the transaction, which I promptly provided. Finally he was done filling out a simple wire form, I signed it and left. The next day, I received an email from the assistant manager of the branch, who said they needed additional documentation for the receiving party. I responded with that information in less than 20 minutes. She replied saying this information was incorrect and that they would cancel the wire if they did not receive the correct information by 1:30 (an hour from the time of her email). I replied again promptly explaining in both English and Spanish that it is a corporate name (same as a DBA in the US). There was zero response and 1:30 came and went. I called and spent another hour on the phone with a call center agent who was texting back and forth with Andrea the assistant manager relaying information. She would only say again and again that the information was incorrect. I had to ask multiple times if she received my reply at 12:31 informing that the recipient's name is correct, and the beneficiary is a corporate name. Finally, Andrea did review my email and confirmed that the wire was released.
As other reviewers have noted, they struggle with lack of knowledge and competency with the most basic transactions. Doing business here is a risk to your reputation and business.
Additionally, it's apparent there was racism involved, due to this being a wire to Mexico. Because all of the information provided was extremely standard and the process should have been very easy and straightforward. It was well below the threshold of amounts that need to be scrutinized for suspicious activity (I'm a FINRA member, I know), yet this small wire to a branch of an established, legitimate international company was treated with prejudice, due to the receiving location being Mexico.
Absolutely unbelievable, I will be closing my accounts here and doing my wires and all business at a different financial institution.

Absolutely appalling. I asked if there is a service in which I can convert foreign currency to USD which they gave me an answer of yes and then my follow up question was what would the fee be in order to do my exchange usd. I was given the answer of a whopping $35 just for the conversion as in if I were to convert €35 to $35 I would lose money on that transaction. I then seconds later called Chase and they had no problem and no fees for any foreign exchange. as a local bank, I would like to support them but having a surcharge of $35 is absolutely absurd

This place has a habit of mishandling every single transaction they touch. I'm stuck in Seattle for two days because they never sent any of the money my family wired after they insisted the transaction was complete.. it wasn't. Now I'm paying the consequences of their ignorance. These people are literally too ignorant to do anything correctly at their job.
