- AEandrew eliaDec 15, 20251.0The staff at the TD Bank Weston & Rutherford branch are clearly not trained properly. My mother went in for a replacement debit card because hers was cracked, locked, and no longer tapping. Instead of helping her, the teller (Marco) told her to call customer support. She called the number he gave her, but after waiting too long, she used the TD app “Contact Us” option, which connected her much faster. The phone rep was frustrated that the branch hadn’t issued the card in person. When she returned, another teller didn’t even know TD has a mobile app, which is shocking given how much TD promotes online banking. After delays, Marco finally issued the card but made dismissive comments, including saying her cracked card “still works” and remarking under his breath about her renewed driver’s license. This wasted her time, caused stress, and showed poor customer service. TD needs to properly train staff on issuing debit cards, using the app, and treating customers with respect.
