- RSR S3 days ago1.0Just got off the phone after spending 17 minutes trying to find out the balance in my mother's chequing account. I'm POA, and I have a POA access card which gives me permission to manage my mother's affairs. Unfortunately, banking rules don't allow POA's to have electronic access. The person I spoke with obviously didn't know what she was doing - kept putting me on hold, and at one point told me she was sorry, but she couldn't help me. I slowly and carefully said again that I was POA, had a POA access card, and any statement she needed information from. Again on hold. FINALLY she went through the verification process and gave me the account balance. I really hope that conversation was recorded and gets reviewed. I could have driven to the bank and back faster. Absolutely unacceptable.

This was my first time at this particular location and from the moment I walked in I was immediately greeted by the tellers that were free and it felt completely different to my usual branch where much could be improved! I can't recall the name of the young lady that served me, but she was so courteous, polite and professional. Everything was efficient and it reminded me of what Canada Trust used to be decades ago when all banking was done at the local branch and you knew all the staff. If the manager of this branch is reading this, it was the teller to whom I relayed a story of my high school math teacher (lol), and I'd really like her to be acknowledged for her wonderful customer service. I told her that I wished this could be my local branch. She is such an asset to your branch and to TD Canada Trust! Thank you!

The amount of staff was amazing to see, 6 tellers and 10+ advisors...in comparison, if you go to CIBC or BMO at the Seaway Mall you may see 2 or 3 tellers on any given day. Service was great, attentive, thorough and professional. I was impressed!
