She started to ask whether I pay taxes at other countries, whether I’m a citizen of another country. I never experienced such questions for opening an account at a bank. The above and other questions was too personal. I asked why are you asking so many personal questions, she replied with I am curious plus the system requires it. We all know that’s bs. I said it’s non of your concern and you shouldn’t be so curious. She replied with I need to put it in the system also. So I said screw this, walked out and opened with Scotiabank instead. who were professionals and didn’t ask these questions.
