This branch might be good for only simple teller transactions. This is what happened in 2025, the last point was yesterday:
1. An employee advised me to put all my USD in GIC, during the whole year I paid monthly fees because I should've left a certain amount in the USD account. How can an employee not know this? It was obvious he just wanted to quickly sell a GIC without care of the rules or the client. I'm never going to this branch for any of my future investments. Do not trust or take action before making your own independant research, online or asking different branches or on the phone about rules and regulations. Either they dont know or they ignore it to sell.
2. We met an employee as a family for a POA. A month or two later when I needed to use it, I found out it was on hold all this time and no one told us anything about it. I had to wait another 3 weeks for a simple date approval. Finally it was solved after calling her every 3 days for updates for a week or more. Do not trust when they tell you something is done without days later checking and confirming that it's actually done.
3. I met another employee to ask about loans, she showed aggression and became nervous when I mentioned I am only here for information and to understand my options only, she wanted to end the meeting quickly. Are we not allowed to understand before making decisions?
She also repeatedly pushed a contact of another employee in a different branch that's not even close to the area, whose name is from the same culture as her. Is it allowed to sell and refer friends/family like that? That person emailed me the same day selling the service that I did not need or ask for. Of course I ignored the email.
Weeks later I find a letter/pamphlet in my mail thanking me for my complaint to TD (!?), when I explicitly told her that I was not complaining about anything and was just chatting about informtion. Obviously she just wanted to use this meeting to show that she did some work. Maybe now I will actually use this letter
4. An employee talks fast nervous and quickly irritated the moment I wanted to talk about an issue she mentioned. She did not give me a chance to explain myself, once I start talking she interrupts in a very condescending and loud nervous manner. I observed her talking to two clients before me, one just nodded and left, the other one left after a calmer employee joined her to speak to him.
She even printed the wrong document for me that I came for in the first place.
At the end she asked me if I prefer to speak to someone else (that employee that spoke to the client before me) staring at me in a confronting rude way; of course I agreed. I now wish I had asked for that from the start. The next employee was much calmer and helped me with my issue.
Why is TD hiring such staff? What happened to respecting the bank you work in and the people who trust you?

Arrived at the branch over an hour before closing to resolve a fraud flag on a newly issued credit card.
Despite bringing the required ID (after conflicting instructions), I waited 30+ minutes as the number in the note was a public number and not an “internal” number, I was then told I might need to come back another day because the teller couldn’t work past 4 p.m. I was already inside the branch, holding an TS's internal phone, waiting.
I used another number to call fraud prevention as no one seemed to pick up. Teller confirmed to fraud prevention that all my documents were valid. Still, I was asked by fraud prevention to wait another 20 minutes due to a “slow system.”
No urgency and no willingness to help a customer already in the premises.
Even canceling the card was impossible—online only, despite login being blocked and teller refused to cancel in branch.
At that point, I threw the credit card in the branch and left.
Broken process, poor service—not surprised TD was penalized $3B
