- VRVinny RovinelliJul 25, 20251.0Shopping for the best mortgage rates with multiple lenders... a broker gave a quote from td then we went to our td branch for another quote. The rates at the branch were lower than the rates given to us from a broker but now the branch won't give us a mortgage at the lower rate rather than trying force us to take it out through a broker at a higher rate. So needless to say we will NOT be taking out any mortgage with td and recommend noone borrow from td. will be closing and transferring all our monies from td and they just lost 2 lifetime customers. That is just about as slimy as it gets.
