  Worst possible experience. TD is such a backdated bank. I have never in my life had to go into a branch to get a credit card. Then after getting it had to come to the branch again to get an easy web account done. I tried calling many times to get this profile but I was told I have to come in. In the call they didn’t mention anything about bring ID. Then after waiting on the teller line for 30 mins and waiting for another 30 to get someone who can help me I was told I needed to bring my passport for this? What on earth is going on? Why is a passport needed for a single online account? I have a valid drivers license and still it’s not enough? Why not just tell me that to begin with? Waste of time with this bank and branch. I will never consider a TD product again.

  Made me wait at a long damn lineup when they could've served me at the help counter near the entrance for non transaction related assistance with my online account. The help counter near the entrance is only for a damned decoration, with no one being there. Back in the days I could just go up there and get helped. Degenerate nowadays...

  TD should be deeply ashamed of how they handled my elderly father’s fraud claim. He is nearly 80 years old and has banked with TD faithfully for 30 years. After losing his wallet, someone found it, guessed his PIN, and withdrew $2,000 from his account. Despite clear evidence of unauthorized withdrawals, TD refused to reimburse him-blaming him instead because his PIN was “too easy to guess.” This is an appalling response to a senior who trusted TD to keep his money safe. My father is retired and lives on a fixed income. Losing $2,000 has left him financially vulnerable, yet TD showed no empathy, accountability, or willingness to do the right thing. To treat a long-time customer this way is disgraceful. It shows how little TD values loyalty, fairness, and basic human decency. Seniors deserve protection, not blame. TD’s refusal to help an elderly man recover his stolen funds is unacceptable and condemnable. If this is how TD treats its most loyal and vulnerable customers, others should think twice before trusting this bank with their money. I am absolutely disgusted by their conduct and complete lack of integrity. Shame on you!
