  On *January 5, 2026, around 11:00 a.m.*, I visited *TD Investment Services Inc.*, located at *26 William Kitchen Road, Scarborough, Ontario*, to cash a cheque, as I usually does. However, the bank staff refused to cash the cheque and informed me that it would take *five days*. I explained that the cheque *could be cashed on the same day* and requested them to do so. The counter staff then went to consult the bank manager, *Mr. Genia Wong*, who sent back the same response through the employee. As a result, I left that branch and went to another bank located at *1571 Sandhurst Circle, Scarborough* , where the cheque was successfully cashed. I then returned to TD Investment Services Inc. with the receipt provided by the other bank and asked, "This bank was able to cash the cheque and why were you unable to do the same?” At that point, the staff appeared shocked and were unable to provide any valid reason for refusing to cash the cheque earlier. It seemed as though they were not interested in performing their duties properly. They did not appear enthusiastic or willing to help. In contrast, at the other bank, the counter staff welcomed me politely, asked me to wait briefly, verified the cheque records, obtained approval from the manager, and cashed the cheque without unnecessary delay. On the other hand, at TD Investment Services Inc., they simply stated in one sentence that the cheque could not be cashed, without checking or verifying anything at all. I would like to receive a clear explanation and proper clarification regarding this matter.

  Went in to to get a new td card and the lady at the service desk that was helping me somehow erased all my payees that I had set up to pay bills! I'm pretty sure she didn't know what she was doing, very frustrating. I had to set them all up again individually. Caused me so much stress. Message to TD, Train your employees properly before putting them in the front line service desk!

  Good customer service but always slow always two people working don't come here if your in a rush because you will waste your time came for a bank card and it took 20 mins.

  Very slow service. 😔 Long line of customers and “only two tellers working, one of whom was new” TD Bank should provide faster service.
