- DMDon McAlpineAug 7, 20251.0I went to TD Bank on London Road & Pontiac Sarnia, Ont. to pick up a bank draft & put it in my Safety Deposit Box. I had to wait in line with knee pain. It took about 1/2 hour to put the draft into the box. There were other seniors with disabilities who just could not stand. One who wanted to move all of his banking elsewhere. My bank draft $19,000.00 more than I asked for. This was part of my mortgage renewal, which went from $153.?? a month to $416.78 per month for five years. The young lady who dealt with the safety deposit box didn't know what she was doing. When she finally got the box opened I put draft into the box and she put the box in the wrong way. With the handle facing to the back, the flat smooth side to the front. It will be interesting to see how they with pull it out the next time.
