After waiting in a substantial line for over 20 minutes, I was told by a teller that I needed to see an advisor to open the account, but none were available at the time. My goal was simply to ask some basic questions about a suitable chequing account. However, when I approached a manager named Ayeh , her response was both unhelpful and shockingly rude. She not only refused to answer my simple questions but also abruptly stated that she could not provide me with any information and that I needed to see an advisor. Her unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude towards a new customer was unacceptable. As a result of this negative interaction, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I immediately went to the Scotiabank branch on the other side of the plaza, where the staff were incredibly efficient, friendly, and understanding. I strongly recommend that potential new customers avoid this specific TD branch, as the service and attitude were a complete disappointment.
