We did all that was required as clients to ensure smooth addition of our children to RESP; however, the bank did not complete the administrative process to set up the account properly and did not inform us of failure to complete the sign up. The bank then did not rectify issue after we informed them of their failure 3x. Grant money was lost. Time wasted. Bank representative then blamed us for the bank’s error and demanded proof of negative impact of the bank’s error.
