  I recently had an appointment with Aghogho for opening banking account. She is very friendly, Knowledgeable and professional. She explained me every term and details clearly in easy to understand way . I truly appreciated her patience and Professionalism.Thank you TD, branch manager and Aghogho for providing such excellent Customer service.

  So I don’t know what happened today. I’m not sure if was profiled because of how I looked or because of what was in my account or both, however I was treated like trash today and I can’t believe there’s people out there who will treat someone poorly just because they aren’t dressed nice. I will admit I did not look dressed for the bank, I have a 4 month old son and I was up all night with him, I had yoga pants and a sweater on and a bun in my hair with ugh slippers. I looked like a mess but I had a million things to do today and got my first baby bonus cheque in the mail after only receiving maternity leave for 4 months which is hardly enough to survive. After handing the cheque over, the person I gave it to wondered around behind the counter talking on the phone and I was so confused because I went in person with my passport as ID because I didn’t want to have any issues or holds because it was too large amount to deposit in online banking, and I said that and I was immediately told it would be held. I was like well it’s a government issued cheque, you just watched me rip the “Ontario” paperwork off of it and you have my passport which is obviously a very real ID. I was told “we’re sorry it’s policy because of the amount.” I was trying to understand what was going on and then for some reason I decided to say “well can’t you at least just give me $500?”. They discussed me some more infront of me and embarrassing me, then decided $500 would be fine. I went back to my car and told my grandma who was with my baby what happened. She said “oh no, that’s not right we’re going to fix this”. My grandmother who’s was dressed nice and draped in her gold jewelry came in with me and my baby and they looked at me crying and her and decided right away they would change their minds. I said “I’d like to remove all funds and close my account”, they ended up releasing another $1200 to me. I am new to TD and opened my account with zero assets so I definitely understand security, but do NOT treat people like that just because you can, that’s disgusting.

  TD in general, is horrible. My children have resp with TD for the past 6 years and it has been the worst experience trying to withdrawal funds. My daughter has been in school for 3 years and each year we go to withdrawal, we cannot. Every agent has different rules, every agent has different stories and every agent has made mistakes. In August we went in to withdrawal and were told her resp was closed, but last year we had to resign our contract and when we did we were asked if we wanted to change it to a family resp plan, which would allow for withdrawal for any of the children to use when ready. So we did that. Clearly, the person who set that up made a mistake and instead closed it. So since August 2025 I have been in and out of the bank ( spending hours) getting it reactivated and her funds transferred back in. The funds have been sitting there since sept 25 and I was told they would send me e-sign contracts to withdrawal it. Nothing sent. After calling I’m advised e-sign cannot be done. So back in I have to go. Then told to bring enrollment letter, I advised I’ve given that to them on 2 occasions now. But nope, they no longer have it and another one is needed ( $20 every time I request this letter). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND no one use TD for resp/rrsp . The worst part, no one has taken accountability or apologized for the 3yrs of constant aggravation and errors made by their agents. Instead, rude service acting as though we are the problem. Thank god we have the ability to cover the cost of our child school fees, otherwise she wouldn’t be in school. And some parents/families don’t have that ability. But they show no care in the world how this can cause problems with a child’s schooling.

  Still no apologies for making people wear masks when it was only by compliance and td headquarters said you didn't have to wear a mask if you told staff you had an exemption. Personal opinion has no place in the banking system
