- HHHollyDec 19, 20251.0I've been a TD customer since 2009, and this used to be my favourite branch to go to, not anymore and more of a reason why I'll be closing my account shortly. I had to go get a replacement card, prior to that I was told by another branch to bring in a piece of government ID and documentation. Sure no problem. A few days later, I bring my documents to this branch and at first the lady was awesome, she was super understanding, very kind, I think her name was Tessa. She had to go get her manager and explain my situation and get the okay to give me a new card, and at first everything seemed to be going good till they asked if I could bring in my birth certificate, I said sure, I'll be right back and not even half hour later I was back.. but Tessa was missing. I had to deal with the manager Shameen I believe her name was or something similar, the way she was explaining things to me felt like she was down talking me and she made me feel dumb to be honest. I was slightly embarrassed for myself. And I shouldn't have been. But that's how this ignorant lady made me feel. I brought in what she asked me and still was giving me the runaround with questions I don't know. How can I answer a question to something I don't know? Something I wasn't aware of? She needs to understand people that can't work, that are disabled , aren't stupid. She needs to be more passionate. I will never walk into this branch again and I'll be closing my account shortly, she put the cherry on top to convince me to leave TD once and for all.
