  We visited the branch today for appointment after receiving a notification on my partner’s account asking us to either call or book an appointment. Calling involved nearly a one-hour wait, so we booked the appointment instead. Upon arrival, the manager informed us that the advisor we were scheduled with was unavailable due to an emergency and that another advisor would assist us after a 15-minute wait. We were told this advisor was a senior advisor, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. He was dismissive, did not listen to our concerns, and spoke over us repeatedly. The interaction ended with him telling us that the issue could be handled through the TD app, if that were the case, there would have been no reason to book an appointment or come into the branch. Regardless of seniority, basic customer service and listening skills are essential. This experience caused significant frustration and ultimately made our decision to move away from TD very easy. Pro tip: The senior advisor advised us against contributing to RRSP, claiming it was not worthwhile from a tax perspective, advice that reflects a concerning lack of basic financial understanding.

  Deposited a check on Jan 1 and a 5 day hold was put on. First time this has happened in my 16 years of banking here. Today's date being January 9th and the check still hasn't cleared. I go into the branch to ask to have the hold removed. .they say no it was a 5 business day hold. I said yes and today is day 6? I then ask for the manager the teller goes over to the manager and they speak in their language (not English or French) the manger then argues with me that it hasn't been 5 business days ..math should be your specialty...I am done with TD

  We have been customers for decades but the end is near. It is unfortunate that the manager at this branch is useless for problem solving. It was good to know that TD does business as they want and not as they should.

  I came here to vent about my experience today but the reviews are so pathetic, nail in the coffin! Horrible Customer Service, persons are just sitting around at the counter not helping! My account got locked out: they said i should call the fraud line when I literally begged knowing that I would be holding on for ages! Now the fraud line says to go back to the bank the note on my account specifically says the bank HAS TO CALL! Do better! Aren’t you guys embarrassed about your reviews???? No pride on your place of work!

  The experience we had this morning renders ZERO stars. My husband has been cashing his work cheque at TD for almost 7 years. Never an issue. Today he goes in and is told they need to hold it. They were very rude and had they done their due diligence (which another branch told me they should have done) they would have seen his cheques go in every other week with no issue. Never ever has one of his work cheques been returned. We lost my father in law early this morning so having to deal with this has just added to the already stressful day. I fully expect an apology from this branch to my husband. He did not deserve the treatment he received. These women telling him he should get direct deposit, when that's not a option with his employer. It is also not their place. I will be escalating this, I am so furious right now.
