  I went in to make a deposit (simple transaction really) and left with less money in my account. I handed over my money to the teller, she counted it, put it in the machine and deposited it, I left with my new balance, checked the app afterwards and noticed the amounts weren’t matching up. I called to inquire about this, only to be put on hold and for the manager to come and say “we’re only human, we make mistakes. The teller made a mistake, told me and then got too busy with other clients”. I understand we’re human and make mistakes, but if you do, especially with other people’s money 1) You should give them a call immediately, not just play around with their money, correcting things on their and not inform them. 2) You should be a little less curt and not only say “yeah, we’re all human” and “she was really busy with other clients”. Really disappointed at the service here.

  Very disappointed with the customer service at the TD branch on North Service in Oakville. The store manager, Puja, was extremely unhelpful and refused to call BMO to verify a cheque I issued from my business account, even though I provided all the necessary details. As a long-time TD customer, I expected at least a minimal effort to assist me. Instead, Puja was dismissive and showed no willingness to resolve the issue. This is not the level of service I expect from a major bank.
