  0/5 STARS: TD Bank — The "Fraud" is their Customer Service ​Don’t bank here if you value your time or your sanity. ​I spent hours being treated like a hot potato—transferred multiple times to people who clearly have zero training. When I finally got to the "Fraud Department," the rep couldn't even grasp a basic explanation of the problem. It was like talking to a brick wall that’s been programmed to say "no." ​The best part? When I asked for a supervisor because the CSR was clearly out of their depth, they flat-out refused to put me through. TD just got hit with billions in fines for failing to stop money laundering and fraud, and now I see why. They don’t have a security system; they have a "ignore the customer until they go away" system. Absolute joke of an institution. ​Avoid this branch and this bank. They’re great at taking your money, but they’re incompetent when it comes to protecting it.

  I do fundraising for community services, things like the food bank and the seeing eye dog foundation and ever since the account was switched to TD every year there is some kind of problem when I go to make deposits. I have been doing this for over a decade, had zero issues with the previous banks we've used. This branch in particular always seems to have new inexperienced tellers who have no idea how to provide good customer service. The gentleman I saw today was incredibly cold and offered no explanation as to why TD has chosen to no longer allow cash deposits to accounts you are not attached to. The account is in the treasurer's name but I have previously never had issues depositing cash, he rolled his eyes when I was obviously irritated and confused and it felt as though I was treated like a criminal. I'll add as well a large company in Oakville makes a donation almost every year and every year when I go to deposit it they want to put a hold on the cheque because their computer won't show them what's in the account (of a huge corporation) the first time it happened they wouldn't even tell me why it was being held just that I needed to contact the company and get them to do the digging, I had to book an appointment for another day with a manager to get it resolved. Why would a company continue to donate to us if every year I had to bother them to take time out of their day and sort out some ridiculous issue on TDs end. I understand they are trying to do their job and prevent anything bad from happening but seriously, I'm a person just like you.. please learn to treat people with some decency if you're going to have a customer facing position. "I don't make the rules" in dismissive rude tone is a really terrible way to treat people.

  ATM is now closed and only open during business hours.. this is UNACCEPTABLE.. the reason I am with this bank is because I am a senior and it is located across the road.. !
