I had an appointment at this branch to close my dead mother’s account with Brad. Upon my arrival, I had three different people ask what I was there for I explained to them who I was there for and what my appointment was with the time with Brad Brad was at the counter serving customers me sitting there, thinking he was going to come to me after he finished that customer while I was wrong he continued to serve other customers so now my appointment was originally at 1 o’clock and I was not seen until 25 after one after he continually to customers a lady finally came over and I requested to speak to the branch manager. She went over and the branch manager refused to come and talk to me and I then therefore said you know this is very disrespectful that I am here waiting to close my dead mother‘s account do you think that this is easy I want to speak to someone right now the lady, which I don’t know her name went and got the assistant branch manager to come out and talk to me originally it seemed like he was going to still make me wait for Brad to bring me into the office, however when I started to lose my mind stating that it was completely disrespectful that my time was not valued and do they feel that it is easy to come in to close somebody else’s account, the branch was a little bit busy and the branch manager was standing behind the counter looking over and still refused to come over to talk to me. The assistant manager ended up, taking into the office to process my Request, completely disgusted with how this branch handles closing account of somebody that has passed for a branch manager to not even come at a person‘s request what type of customer service is that? If you’re a branch manager, you should be all about customer service, so maybe she should be taking away from that position because she doesn’t know how to handle customers at all or has the decency to come and apologize to a customer. I will be definitely escalating the situation and will not rest until it is dealt with accordingly.

This branch is the worst - TD is a great bank but this branch makes me want to close my account everytime. ALL my visits here have been unsatisfactory if not a completely wasted trip for the last 10 years. They're conveniently situated which is the only reason I've tried to get banking done in person there but it's futile because staff/management are SO uncaring and unhelpful. Insufficient information, needless fees, and an unnecessary over-the-top adherence to "the policy" which is never actually shown but always presented as a barrier to you getting what you need.

TD Bank: $5 to withdraw my own money? Ouch! Okay, I get using an ATM to withdraw money from a different bank has a penalty charge attached to it - but $ 5.00?! That is a venti latte from Starbucks! It is extortion! Sheesh!!! I expected maybe a $ 3 penalty - but $5. Holy heck! Who is taking what vacation on my back???? Sooo...I walked into the TD bank at South Commons in Mississauga today to withdraw rent money from one account (different bank) to deposit into another (my landlord's who also happens to be my cousin) TD account. It is something I have done monthly for three years plus - without an issue, mind you. I use my own TD client card (yes, I have a TD account as well), show the TD cheque image on my phone that clearly shows all facets of the cheque face belonging to my landlord/cousin & I deposit said funds into the same account every time...every month...like clockwork. Wiarton TD knows me. The system knows me. This is routine. Then the teller at the South Commons TD location tries to tell me I cannot make the deposit. He said that they are "not supposed" to do such transactions - me depositing money using my TD client card on my account to deposit into another TD client account. Really?! Pullease!!! I had to explain their own process to him like I was onboarding a new employee. I stood my ground, laid out the facts, and made it clear I was not leaving until the job was done but tried to do so politely. And then the kicker - he actually asked me - in an interrogating fashion: “Why are you in Mississauga?” Excuse me? That is absolutely none of your business. I refrained from saying as much. I let politeness rule the moment. I schooled myself to remain polite even if he failed to do so - which, he evidently did by his most impertinent line of questioning. So, I told him: I was visiting my son who came in from Calgary, & then my car died, now I am stuck in Mississauga. Still, that question was out of line. So, way out of line. TD, if this is how you treat loyal customers who know your system better than your staff, you deserve every bit of this review. I am beyond perturbed, and obviously, I am not shy about calling out nonsense. You really need to train your staff - on procedures &, apparently, etiquette. Fix your fees. And maybe teach them not to interrogate customers like they are crossing a border. They are tellers - not border guards. And for the record: This is still Canada & we are never going to be a 51st state. Straighten up! Grrrrrr
