- WWWesDec 12, 20251.0I was at this branch this morning and I was very shocked and disappointed by the lack of Christmas atmosphere at this branch. I didn't see any ornaments and not even a Christmas tree. When I called the manager of the branch and I asked him "do you not celebrate Christmas?" and he didn't know what to say so he made an excuse saying that he isn't Christian and he was very rude to me. I understand that this is Canada and not everyone is Christian, but Christmas is an official holiday in Canada and they get paid day offs and other benefits, and I know that there are Christian employees at this branch and they also have a lot of Christian clients nearby because there lives a lot of Polish, Italian, Portuguese, and etc who are Christians. Do you not care for Christian people because the management isn't Christian? Yesterday, I was at a different branch at Dundas and Erin Mills and it had a fantastic Christmas atmosphere, I saw a Christmas tree, ornaments, and they even played Christmas music. It doesn't hurt anyone to set up a few things to accommodate for your clients. You can see clearly that the Scotiabank across to you has a big Christmas tree and ornaments and that you can see them from across the parking lot because the management is more tolerant. So if you guys are not tolerant, then the management should be changed if you can't accept this official Canadian holiday. You guys should be considering all of your clients and not just your preferred ones. Edit: Hi Sergio, thank you for your response. This matter may not seem important to you, but if you were to use your common sense, then you would realize how significant it is. Good job guys, I'm so glad you have some Christmas decorations in your branch and thank you for your cooperation.
