  I have to say I've done pretty good working with Jamey. I'd also venture to say we've both learned a lot which says he's very open minded. Our calls are always good for a few laughs while we figure out the next steps. He's really personable but has eyes like a hawk, which is what you need when riding the various waves of investing. HIGHLY recommended especially for a somewhat nervous investor like myself

  Great and welcoming team easy to contact and work with. My only concern is the lack of retirement planning and detail of a plan. Most of the plans from Edward Jones are cookie cutter programs that do not address long term retirement income and planning. If you are looking for just investing they provide a great service.

  When my mother became terminally ill and I was to take over her estate. My moms wish was that I amalgamate all her assets into an account at Edward Jones in Midland Ontario and referred me to Jamey who she had been a client of for a number of years.  She essentially felt that if I worked with Jamey I would be able to ensure the best possible future for my inheritance. Under Jamey's quick advice I adjusted certain things to do with the estate so that I would be able to avoid probate court.  That advice alone single handedly saved me between 10 to 20k in lawyer fees, probate taxes and all the other expenses that would have accumulated if the process of closing the estate had been obstructed for that unknown length of time.  ( most likely  3 to 6 months waiting on court dates) Financial advisors know about more then just mutual funds and stocks. And the Edward Jones approach to handling your portfolio is a more thorough and collaborative method then a lot of other investment banks. Thats why, although they re not the cheapest in terms of fees, they will go over and above what other banks would do to look out for you financially.  And that's why they say you get what you pay for.

  It is 7 years this month ( May 2020 ) that I have been dealing with Edward Jones Midland office and Jamey Drummond. Jamey, who is rooted in the area, is a very knowledgeable, very professional advisor offering sound advise backed by a large reputable world wide firm. Jamey and staff also present a very welcoming atmosphere whether by phone or in person.
