  Painful and Poor end to end customer experience today. I’m very upset with this TD branch and the back office. Visited with my elderly father to deposit a certified cheque he made with his own money from another bank to deposit to his own TD account in the same name to be deposited at this TD branch. Easy? Heck no! Not even after providing ID, bank card with PIN, and one time password by SMS, the teller tells us there’s a block on the account and gives us a phone number to call ourselves. He can’t help us and tells us to have a seat to call. What kind of continuity of service is this? Calling that number took exactly 1 hour and 17 minutes of wait time on the phone IN THE BRANCH. We have the screenshot to prove it. During this time we both are getting aggravated and lined up again and get asked to speak to another rep who obliges to our demand to call their BACK OFFICE. After 20 mins we get through and are told that other phone number we were on hold with is the WRONG number. This agent on the phone from the back office ends up resolving the issue to remove the hold. I then hand it back to the teller who disagrees and says NO that number is correct. I don’t care who is right, this should not have taken 1 hr and 17 minutes and my persistent insistence to resolve. This was a painful 2 hour ordeal at the branch and on the phone let alone with a senior citizen as your customer. We cannot accept this service standard and even ask for an apology and reimbursement of our valuable time at the branch. We got nothing. TD, you guys suck bad. I’ll never get my time back and nothing in consolation. I hope customers or potential customers read this before they consider banking with TD! P.S. whomever it is from TD that replies to this feedback on Google, DON’T bother with your petty message to thank me for my feedback, I’ve already complained and I don’t need you to gloss over with hollow words in response to make your brand seem better. Your Google rating is low and cheap words with no material remedy is useless. EDITED: Aug 18, 2025, 3:00pm TD Complaints department calls to discuss. No resolution or reimbursement of time offered. All in all 2.5 hours total ordeal and a stressed out senior citizen client. TD, you are horrible.

  Was shopping for mortgages here and I nearly bought in. The staff are good, explain their products well and are super helpful. If their rates were as good as others at the time I would have joined their bank.

  Employee is too scary to do anything. He only wants to do the thing that ATM can handle.
