Even if this is the closest TD to you you're far better off going to the one across from Masonville Place it's not that far and the tellers are a bit nicer there.
- MLMelissa LapriseFeb 12, 20241.0Horrible bank customer service. Called ahead & wanted to exchange some America $20 bills for $1 bills, as we are preparing for a trip—they said they could do $100. Got there and the teller said that she could only do $50–no biggie… Gave her 2-$20 bills and a $10–the one $20 bill had no creases but wasn’t fresh off the press, so she asked if I had another one, which I didn’t. She then wanted to decline the transaction and got very rude. She asked me to put in my bank card. I said I don’t have one, you can see my license though—and I have never been asked for a bank card re: money exchange. I had been to two other banks prior with absolutely no issues, rightfully so (one of those was another TD at Masonville, great service). She told me she can’t exchange in that case because I am not a client! I told her that we have a mortgage for one of our income properties with TD—she basically said that’s not valid—I gave her the address. She ended up literally shoving the money to me and saying “just take it”. This lady literally doesn’t think we are clients because we don’t have an account with them, only a mortgage. What a JOKE! This branch is the exact reason we closed our accounts and American accounts with TD. I think this lady was part of their managed team—blonde, older lady. Shame on you for making me feel like a second rate human to exchange a few dollars for vacation tips. Keep losing business! Don’t bank with this location, numerous issues, this was just one of them!
