- BNB NSep 25, 20251.0I made an appointment to withdraw RESP funds at this branch, which is also my home branch. This is the 4th year I have been withdrawing from my RESP, and I have always provided the Unofficial Enrolment Verification from the university without any issues. The Unofficial Enrolment Verification letter contains all the required information (university logo, student name, program, etc.). However, the branch manager, Balraj Athwal, refused to accept the letter for the withdrawal and instead blamed me, saying it was my fault for not calling ahead to confirm what documents were needed. She was very rude, arrogant, and dismissive. I am shocked that TD allows someone with such poor customer service skills to manage a branch. As a result of this experience, I have decided to move all my banking and investments from TD to another financial institution. After being a TD customer for over 40 years, I expect to be treated with respect, dignity, and value—and unfortunately, that was not the case here.

Found out her name was Katie. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Very personable and had an easy going disposition. Left with such a high regard and great opinion of Katie, as well as, other staff. A real asset to your team and I hope she gets a tremendous evaluation.
