    My husband visited this branch to deposit four cheques. The teller processed all four, but because the total exceeded her limit, she sought managerial approval. During that process, the manager noticed that one cheque was missing a signature and instructed the teller to return it to my husband to have his employer sign it. However, instead of documenting that she returned the unsigned cheque, the teller documented it as a cash withdrawal. My husband did not notice this error at the time on his receipt and took the cheque back to his employer for signing. He returned the following week and redeposited the now-signed cheque. Two days later, TD deducted the cheque amount again from our account, claiming the cheque was duplicated. Upon reviewing our online account, I discovered this and immediately went to the branch to resolve it. When I requested to speak with the branch manager, she did not come to speak with us directly. The teller acted as a messenger between us, going back and forth to relay our concerns, even though the manager’s desk was directly behind the teller. After multiple explanations and back-and-forth conversations, we were told the manager would investigate and follow up. Nearly two weeks passed without any contact. When we went back to the branch, we were told there were no notes on file. We were promised a call on Monday, but when TD finally called, the telephone representative had no record of our case. After explaining the situation yet again for the fourth time, we were connected to the same manager, who stated she had been “checking things” and concluded that the unsigned cheque was documented as being deposited instead of the signed one, and that they cannot locate one of the cheques. she also told me I would have to contact the person who issued the cheques and ask them to check their records to see which one of the cheques was not deposited. During the call, the line dropped, and no one called me back. I had to initiate contact again. After a while of waiting and no call back I contacted with my husband’s employer which cheque was never cashed, and they looked at their records and confirmed which number was the missing cheque. I informed TD, only to be told that the cheque is lost and they cannot find it. that I should have the employer cancel and reissue another one to replace it. After this experience i noticed that there was absolutely no records on my file about this case. I decided to escalate this matter to bring awareness of what is happening at this branch so that Td can fix this issue and it does not happen again. I have been in contact with customer care who has been very helpful in looking into this. As a loyal TD customer since 2006, this experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. I have several concerns that I would like formally addressed: How is a teller allowed to rectify an error by posting a cash withdrawal for a cheque that was meant to be returned? How Can a cheque go missing after being deposited? Who is accountable for this mistake — the teller or the customer? Why did the branch manager not meet with us directly after being informed of the issue? Why were we never contacted with an update, despite being told we would be? Why were no notes or records made in the system about this incident? How can TD expect customers to maintain trust when such serious mishandling and lack of accountability occur? Has this ever happened before?

    One of the worst locations for TD. Can't use the indoor ATM at night when the drive thru ATM is out of order like it is 50% of the time. Response to the branch There is no reason that a bank customer can not access the internal ATM. Reinstall the card reader to access the door. I should not have to drive to another location when I'm shopping in the same plaza as the branch because you are no longer committed to customer satisfaction. Other locations offer the option to use the internal ATM. Maybe it's time to switch my accounts and mortgage from TD
