  They act like you’re a homeless person who sits down at the meeting area when waiting for someone but they let actual homeless ppl camp at the ATM area 🙄

  Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at any bank in last 13 years made even worse by the disgustingly disrespectful way they treated a fellow TD employee. I walked into this branch to simply verify my ID for an account I opened online. Apparently that was treated like a crime. The front desk, the teller Raghav and the front manager all that I dealt with immediately questioned why I opened it online instead of in-branch, then told me the system showed a duplicate profile with an old address. Fine — I had no issue with that and handed over my driver’s license. That was the start of 2.5 hours of pure incompetence and disrespect. Raghav spent 30 minutes walking around with my ID, showing it to his frontline manager, then told me to go home and get my passport. I wasted an hour doing that, came back, and instead of helping me, he passed me to another teller… who passed me to someone else. No one knew what they were doing. They held onto both my passport and driver’s license for an hour and a half like it was normal, while treating me like a fraud risk even though I showed my passport, my TD offer letter, and cash to deposit into MY OWN new account. The most insulting part? Both the teller and the front-line manager said I “look skinnier” than my photo ID, so they weren’t sure it was me. Apparently looking slimmer gives them permission to treat someone like a criminal. Instead of using basic common sense, they dragged everything out, made baseless assumptions, and showed zero respect or professionalism. It was mental harassment, plain and simple. I tried to escalate to the branch manager (Adil), but the hostile attitude of the frontline manager told me exactly what kind of culture exists at this branch. I had to leave because my niece was home alone and I had work the next day — the day I start with TD, the branch made sure I have the most frightening experience before the start. I’ve already raised this with centralized TD departments because this was beyond unacceptable. No customer deserves this treatment — especially not someone who was joining TD the next day. I will never set foot in this branch again. Disgusting service, zero common sense, and a complete failure of basic customer etiquette.
