- IKIndervir Kooner4 days ago1.0Terrible service. I am a real estate lawyer and have banked with TD for years. This is my home branch, although I regularly attend other TD branches closer to my office. I frequently obtain bank drafts for real estate closings, often on a near-daily basis, and this has never been an issue at any other branch. This time, I was told that a bank draft could not be issued until an “verification process” was completed. I was made to wait for several minutes, which resulted in a real estate closing being delayed by a full day. No one was able to clearly explain why this verification process was suddenly required at this branch when no other TD branch has imposed it over the past several years. The only explanation provided was that it was required by the manager. Given the time-sensitive nature of real estate transactions, this lack of consistency and transparency is unacceptable. I do significant banking with TD, but experiences like this seriously undermine confidence. Delays of this kind are simply not workable for this kind of work, and I am now considering taking my business elsewhere.

And they also lock the doors to access the ATMs after hours. ATMs should be a 24 hour thing. People may need to quickly grab some physical money for all sorts of reasons. It's just a huge inconvenience.
