  I can’t say enough good things about the team at TD Canada Trust’s Bowmanville location on Longworth Avenue. Every time I walk in I’m greeted with warmth, professionalism and genuine kindness. It’s rare these days to find a bank where the staff truly care and this branch absolutely delivers. After my mom passed away earlier this year, I had to take on the role of executor and handle her financial affairs. While TD Auto Finance was a nightmare to deal with, hanging up on me three times after hours on hold and offering little help with poor communication the Bowmanville branch staff was the complete opposite. Stephen Gee has been my go-to, and he’s nothing short of amazing. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient and has a natural ability to make people feel heard and supported. His intelligence and personality shine through in every interaction and he genuinely goes above and beyond. I always look forward to seeing him he makes banking feel less like a chore and more like a conversation with a trusted friend. Even when TD Auto Finance dropped the ball and sent me a payment request after everything had already been resolved, Stephen was just as frustrated and proactive in trying to fix the issue. His dedication is unmatched. I also want to give a shoutout to Jake, who listened attentively and respectfully when I expressed my concerns about the Auto Finance department and of course I can't forget to mention Mackenzie at the teller desk, she is an absolute delight. She's bubbly, friendly and always a pleasure to chat with. Handling finances after the loss of a loved one is never easy, but the team at this TD location made it manageable and even comforting. Thank you all for your compassion, professionalism and outstanding customer service. You’ve made a lasting impression and I’m truly grateful.

  I recently moved to Bowmanville so I wanted to open an account at a bank close by. I came in on Tuesday. They said they could not open an account for me. To make an appointment. We went through every day until next Monday and apparently nothing was available. The manager says a woman is off and he can’t force her to come in (rudely). So only one person opens accounts? I look at his name tag and it says manager. Could not believe this is how a manager deals with a potential customer. He made it clear he doesn’t care for my business. So I left. I’ve never been to a bank and been handled this way.

  I went to this branch. Let me tell you this I got 4 different reply from from four different representatives. First interaction in branch : open business account with online department Second interaction online rep : go to branch Third interaction in branch : branch rep said go online Fourth rep online : said go to branch What a joke. The request I have is very simple, open a business account. It’s not that hard request. If a manager is reading this, you are doing a lousy job here buddy. Time to reflect and train your team better. Avoid this brach until they address their training deficit. No one has clarity here.

  Friendly staff in all levels. Best branch ever. (Polar opposite to the RBC down the road). Glad I do my business here 😊

  This bank is now out of my way however I would rather drive to this TD bank for the great service then go to the one near my new house! Always received great service at this bank.
